The Shard Christmas lights show

 

“Illuminating the top 20 storeys of the building, this year’s Shard Lights theme centres around the concept of time, acting as a sort of visual timepiece for time-pressed Londoners. “- Evening Standard about The Shard Christmas light show.

Featured by Evening Standard this year’s The Shard Christmas illuminations photographed by me and team of other 5 photographers.

The shoot was a collaboration between many photography and video crews. The aim was to achieve a collection of images representing The Shard as iconic building on London’s city scape. The Christmas lights were tested on 3 consecutive nights few weeks prior to the actual ‘switch on’ event. Everyone worked at night, as the night sky creates the best contrast for the magnificent illuminations.
