Furniture editorial photography for IKEA brand.
The timeless and always classy- monochrome, has always been a popular colour combination for interior design. This year the IKEA look book approaches the black and white scheme and is bringing it to our kitchens. Creating a modern and elegant design that is characterised by a mixture of an industrial and stripped back look.
Scaling back the monochrome colour scheme, allows for an increased focus on distinct product design and individual furniture pieces. Doing what Ikea does best, combining sustainable and space saving products with bold, graphic and statement furniture that caters to modern urban ways of living.
The brief for this editorial shoot was to capture the trends for the coming season – focusing on how both the existing and new products fit with macro- and micro- themes within the home interior.
The look book is a blend of new and existing products in to a visually appealing, presented as an inspirational press pack that explains the trends, shows room set versions of each style and showcases individual products that match.
The objectives of the editorial shoot:
Create a consistent brand image with editorial edge
Showcase IKEA’s ranges in a way that packages products in an editorially
