Claremont Office Furniture- case study

Staff from over 50 locations have finally moved to the most technologically advanced office in the SSE property estate. Now over 1800 employees are based at the 190,000 sq. ft. Reading headquarters.

Situated over 8 floors with 1547 permanent desks is the most technologically advanced office in the SSE property estate.

The office building has been designed with the key objectives of providing a flexible and dynamic work environment that enhances collaboration, efficiency and productivity.

There are 136 break out spaces, 57 meeting rooms and a large ground floor café seating 260. The furniture for the building was sourced from over 19 suppliers through the dealer Claremont Office Furniture.

But my all time favourite is the atrium space, designed with wide range of domestic style products, creating a central point of collaboration within the building. It can be seen from all floors and is situated close to the impressive triple height reception space, ideal for welcoming guests and hosting informal meetings.

The space was designed by Claremont Centre in collaboration with Claremont Office Furniture with HKS Architects .
