Marek Sikora Photography was contracted to provide a case study for Basha- Franklin.

Canary Wharf Group commissioned Basha-Franklin, London based Interior Design Consultants, specialising in Corporate Offices, to design rugs for the ground floor of Cesar Pelli’s 50-storey tower at One Canada Square.

Challenge:

Monumental entrance with strong finishes like green and red marble, bottle-green furniture and stainless-steel and glass panelling set the scene for our client’s custom designed rugs. The result was a design that complemented and defined the space while adding some fresh and contemporary feel to the space.

The challenge was to capture the grand space and reveal the rugs as a focal point to it.

Solution:

We produced multiple samples exploring the impact of the rugs on the foyer. Using variety of lenses and focal points, the photographs explore the scale, and design as well as functionality of the rugs in this high-traffic area.
